With the recent airings of the Show on TLC about Extreme coupons, you may be wondering how they get all their coupons to go on the big shopping trips, some of them buy them online. You can find them by going to Google and look for Whole Sunday Inserts. You will find many sites that off these inserts, uncut. You will have to cut them yourself, and sometimes you may not use all the coupons that you get. So that is the chance that you take when you purchase full inserts online. But there are also other ways that you can do this to find other coupons that you do use daily.
Again you will want to Google coupons for sale, and you will find a huge list of coupons that people are selling. You can purchase them for cents for high dollar coupons, and pay a small shipping fee. This can really pay off if you are in an area that doubles coupons and find the item on sale.
So what is the best way to find the product that you will be buying anyhow for next to nothing? Planning.
Yes, you will have to plan ahead of time to save money. Now I’m not saying that you should be saving 100% of your shopping trip, but you could with detailed planning, but would you be happy saving 50% off?
This is how I do it, I will pull up the ad online for the stores I am going to shop at, I know they will go online earlier than you can get the sales paper in the store, and then in another window, I will have the place that I purchase my coupons from and compare the sales for the week with the cents off manufacturers coupons. This may take me an hour to do to do it, but I will know what I want to stock up on, many of the items will be less than a quarter or better yet even free. To me that is worth my time to do it.
I want to get my order in so that I can get the coupons back before the sale ends at the store, always check the shipping time for the coupons so that you can get them back in time. Since most sales run 7 days you don’t have time to wait. You will need to immediately order the coupons as soon as you see the sales ad so that they get shipped the next day. I use one place that is close to where I live so that I know that it takes the least amount of time mailing. Usually it works out very well.
So with my list, and my coupons I will head off to the store and savings will amount to larger amounts if I didn’t use all the coupons. I will purchase several of the same coupons to build up my stock pile.
Every dime that you save at the grocery store will be money that you can spend somewhere else, or save it. I am able to feed my family of 4 every month for less than 200 dollars. If I had more time to devote to couponing, I would be able to save more, but to us that savings adds up.
So take some time and see how much you can save buy getting your coupons online before heading to the store.
