Get a Great workout at home without buying any equipment. You don’t have to spend money to get into shape, there are many things that you can do for free and still be able to get into shape and tone your muscles.
1. Running in place. You can do this while watching Television or listening to music. It does not require any equipment at all and it will get your heart rate up giving you a great cardio workout.
2. Walking. Walking is one of the best exercises that you can do and it’s free. You can put on your IPod and just walk around your neighborhood or a local school track. Many malls and hospitals will have walking areas for you when the weather is bad giving you a nice safe place that you can walk daily. You will want to walk fast enough to get your heart pumping. You will also want to do this several times a week.
3. Jumping Jacks. This is something that we have all done in gym classes at school. It’s also a great fun way to work out without any other equipment.
4. Dancing. Dancing is a fun way to burn calories. You use all your major muscles when dancing. You listen to music that will have a fast beat and will lift your spirits and just dance. This can be done anywhere, and you not only will get a great workout that is fun but also burn those calories.
5. Crunches. Crunches is great to do to tighten up the stomach muscles. You can do this in a limited space and several times a day. Start out slowly and gradually work your way up to more crunches a day.
While none of these exercises require any equipment you can see that you will be working all your muscles and getting a great cardio workout. These are great for beginners who are just starting out exercising, you can start out slowly and then work your way up to more a day. Walking is one of the best exercises to start out with if you are out of shape, as time goes on you will see that you area able to walk further and faster as the months go on.
The key to a workout plan is to vary it, and not to get bored with it. You will want to challenge yourself and try to do more each time you do it. Soon you will see your body shape changing for the better as your muscles become more toned and the pounds start melting off.
